Young Hoff – rap artist from the energetic streets of San Jose, California – enthralls listeners with chill vibes and the precocious wisdom required to overcome life’s toughest challenges. Largely influenced by hip-hop heavyweights Mac Miller and J. Cole, Hoff appreciates imagery and emotion in music. “I love music that tells a story. It’s easier for me to relate to. That’s why I try to paint pictures in my songs and include experiences of my past when I’m writing.

His songs are soul-stirring. Behind his curtain-of-creation is a sensational narrative of personal success – a journey illustrated by more than 1,400 days of sobriety.  At its heart, Young Hoff’s story is one of true human existence – the raw, unfiltered path of self-discovery and development. He states, “Music is a therapeutic journey of self-exploration for me. I use it as a way to build a deeper connection with myself through the process of self-reflection.” Every note he plays and every lyric he writes demonstrates his  remarkable dedication to growth, health, and prosperity.

A born entertainer, Hoff has been captivating audiences since he was a child. From church recitals and theatre plays to knocking speakers with hip-hop icons Mike Jones and DJ Quik, he is a veteran of the stage. Only two years after the release of his debut project, Freshman Year, Hoff’s music has generated over 20,000 total streams. He has also collaborated with tons of Bay Area talent – including famed local artists Stunnaman02, Mistah F.A.B., and Hatch86 Films – capturing the attention of west coast hip-hop magazine Thizzler on the Roof.

A stunning mosaic of interests and endeavors, Hoff enjoys a multitude of activities off-stage. “I do a few things other than rap. I love playing ice hockey, practicing my instruments, and doing wood restoration projects.” An incredibly versatile individual and a true student of the arts, Hoff also received a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Arizona in 2020. Between his accomplishments and life experiences, he looks to serve as a constant reminder that, despite how overwhelming some obstacles may seem, hope and opportunity are always present.

Young Hoff will be releasing his debut album, “Hi, My Name Is Justin” on September 12, 2024.
